Founder and Principal
Amy first cultivated a talent for shaping the political and policy landscape nearly 20 years ago as a corporate in-house government affairs director. She quickly took on paid campaign management roles for issue, statewide and legislative campaigns.
These experiences and her strong business and budgetary background as a Chief Financial Officer formed the building blocks for her career. Soon after the 2012 election, with full support and encouragement from fellow lobbyists, legislators, and local government officials, she started Attwood Public Affairs. The transition from in-house government affairs to contract public affairs and campaign consulting proved immediately successful.
Amy has cultivated an extensive network across the country. She does not approach her work in a partisan manner and has reliable connections along the political spectrum. She prioritizes the creation and maintenance of genuine relationships.
